Capital One is moving their debit card to the Discover payment network:
- Your account number and PIN will stay the same for a smooth transition, and you’ll still have many of the same account benefits.
- Your debit card will have a new 16-digit card number, 3-digit security code (CVV) and expiration date.
- our card will be widely accepted, like it is today. Keep an eye out for the Discover, PULSE® or Diners Club International® logos.
Thoughts
Seems like the obvious play. I’d guess they start with debit cards then also consider moving cobranded and some cash back cards over as well over time.
