Hyatt has ended their partnership with American Airlines in favor of a new partnership with Delta.
American Airlines and Hyatt have worked together to bring added value and choice to members of both our loyalty programs. After careful consideration, we have mutually decided to not continue our enhanced relationship. Throughout the transition, we are committed to preserving the benefits members can earn through the current earning year in each program (including providing the standard time to select an award after it has been earned).
For the remainder of each program’s current earning year, AAdvantage® and World of Hyatt members will see no interruption in earning, selecting and redeeming their eligible benefits. AAdvantage® members who have linked their AAdvantage® and World of Hyatt accounts by 11:59:59 p.m. CT on Nov. 15 can continue earning World of Hyatt awards through Loyalty Point Rewards through Feb. 28, 2027. World of Hyatt members who have linked their accounts by Nov. 15 can continue earning AAdvantage® awards through Milestone Rewards through Dec. 31, 2026.
A new, exclusive loyalty relationship launching in the coming months will bring together Delta SkyMiles and World of Hyatt programs to help connect the air and hotel experience for their most loyal customers. Initial benefits will focus on Elite Members, with additional eligibility and benefit details to be shared soon.

Thoughts
Too early to tell if the Delta deal will be any good.
