Samsung is reportedly working on a credit card and mobile wallet product of their own. Aimed at challenging the Apple Card and Apple Wallet. These reports suggest Samsung is in talks with Barclays as the banking partner and Visa as the payment network. This would be a cash back card, of course allowing rewards to be transferred to a Samsung account to buy Samsung gear.

Thoughts
Seems these type of cobranded cards end up being 2-3x cards at best. I’d love for Samsung to come out hard and push Apple to make their own card better. Especially given Apple’s coming move from Goldman to a new banking partner.
