American Express is changing the name of the Green card to Classic Green Card. Existing cardholders have been made aware with a popup message in account. Change will take place 8/20/26. No other card changes have been announced.

Thoughts
Someone in marketing clearly needed a special project to complete. I’d still bet on changes and a fee hike coming along side of this move.
