Chase updated the access rule for Sapphire Lounges. Starting 8/15 Priority Pass and Lounge Key members lose the one free pass per year along with discounted passes of $75 after that. Members of these programs will now have to pay $100 entry fee.
Another positive change for Sapphire Reserve/JP Morgan Reserve/Ritz Carlton cardholders:
Beginning 8/15 eligible cardmembers traveling on an itinerary with a connection can access a Sapphire Lounge up to five hours before their scheduled connecting flight, an increase from the current three-hour limit.

Thoughts
This change makes sense given the popularity of lounges and Chase wanting to push their own cards.
