Chase has sent out a survey regarding potential changes for the Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority card:
- Annual fee: $229
- Multipliers
- 4x Southwest purchases
- 2x gas stations and restaurants
- Benefits
- Select a Standard seat or Preferred seats at booking
- Upgrade to Extra Legroom seat at 48 hours prior to departure, when available
- Cardmembers and up to 8 passengers in the same reservation will board with Group 5, giving them earlier access to overhead bins
- First checked bag free for Cardmembers and up to 8 additional passengers on the same reservation
- No foreign transaction fees
- 25% back on inflight purchases
- 2,500 Tier qualifying points (towards A-List or A-List preferred loyalty status) for every $5,000 spent
- 7,500 anniversary points after your Cardmember anniversary
- Boost of 10,000 Companion Pass qualifying points every year

Thoughts
With the recent Southwest changes it’s no surprise the cards will be updated at some point. I don’t see $230 here, looks like more of a way to short cut getting to A list.
