American Express has added 400+ hotels to the Fine Hotels & Resorts program.
NEW YORK – American Express Travel today announced that it is adding over 400 new, premium global properties to its expanding signature hotel programs, Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection, across 49 new destinations around the world bringing the total to over 3,100 curated hotels in 114 countries. This marks the largest global footprint of any credit card issuer’s hotel program.
“This year’s additions offer a set of premium properties — boutique hotels to luxury resorts — that deliver meaningful value and unforgettable experiences to our Platinum Card Members,” said Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel. “Fine Hotels + Resorts remains the only credit card issuer program that offers guaranteed 4:00 p.m. check out. I can’t think of many things more valuable than extended vacation time.”
Platinum Card Members who book two nights or more with The Hotel Collection through American Express Travel can unlock benefits, including hotel booking credits, property credits, and early check-in, late check-out and a room upgrade upon arrival1, all when available. Platinum Card Members can also enjoy complimentary breakfast for two and guaranteed 4:00 p.m. check-out with Fine Hotels + Resorts bookings. Additionally, Platinum Card Members can access complimentary night offers on eligible bookings at select Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection properties when booking through American Express Travel. Seventy percent of the properties added this year provide at least one form of additional value, including complimentary valet parking, complimentary items from the minibar, or unique welcome amenities. And Platinum Card Members can get more out of their spending, when booking a Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection prepaid stay through American Express Travel, Platinum Card Members earn Membership Rewards® points, while also earning loyalty points with hotels as they typically would2.
In addition to booking hotels, Platinum Card Members who book trips with Amex Travel™ have access to its massive global footprint and incredible benefits to help them make the most out of their vacations.
