Thoughts
Looks like an easy enough offer. I believe you need to be close to a branch to qualify.

First Horizon is no longer offering this promo for opening a personal checking account. I had planned on visiting my local branch today to take advantage of that offer but the offer has been removed from its website. They are instead now offering a new promo for business checking but the required deposit amounts are much higher for much less ROI.

On-line did not work. Made appointment and completed opening account in person.
Denied because of Chex. They actually tell you your Chex score upon denial, which is the first time I’ve seen a bank do this.
it is chex sensitive, unless you apply in person. I got denied online, but was able to open it with the bonus.
New York has a branch at 444 Madison Avenue 9th fl!!I was kind of wondering why I bypassed this offer when it first came out. NYC has a branch. Almost missed it. And reports are saying check sensitivity can be overridden in the branch. So I’m heading there for lunch LOL. Close call
Okay time to eat some Humble Pie. the branch “location” is not an actual bank branch location it is a mortgage ctr,so it does not open accounts. This thing is literally one block from me and it is no good to me. I now see why RJ did not include them on the list, however I’m going to give a try online although I am super check sensitive I do not expect to go through. Also anyone know how to delete a goddamn comment LOL
Any luck online. I’m wondering if there is a way around the 50 mile radius requirement
Got declined on this in the last step…probably Chex sensitive unfortunately.
Denied as well due to Chex. Will attempt to open in branch but probably no luck regardless.
I got asked about my Chex report but I was still approved.
