Thoughts
The $1,200 is the highest I can remember seeing in some time. Given the short lockup period, I say it’s worth it… then again, I always say that.

One thing to note here, is that opening an account through the State Farm referral, is not the same as holding a direct Business Checking account with US Bank. I would be wary of opening two separate accounts and trying to get two separate bonuses. US Bank has made some changes in that their rewards earned on Business Credit Cards can now only be redeemed to Business Banking Accounts. I opened up the State Farm link to set the initial account up and redeem my awards into it. This did not work. I’m going to continue to use this account to receive the higher bonus rate, but had to open up a separate business checking account with US Bank in order to redeem my awards into it. All in all, pretty frustrating from US Bank, but their rewards can’t be beat.
