I’ve seen multiple reports on Reddit regarding Lululemon gift cards no longer triggering the $75 Amex Platinum credit.
Gift cards weren’t supposed to work to begin with. We’ve also seen Lululemon make multiple attempts to block this move. Changing the card denominations, not allowing split purchases across to Platinums, etc.
Thoughts
At this point one has to wonder what value Lululemon and others get from marketing with Amex. Seems like a headache to continually force customer purchase behavior.
