Thoughts
I did the last go around that was targeted. This bank cheated many out of the promo offer at that time. It appears as if they were filtering on those who “used” the account. This time, I’d recommend “using” the account. Bill pay the money out, don’t immediately do an ACH pull for example.

I think the goal of this it to just use two direct deposits of an odd amount well over $1,500 and maybe just start doing it 45 days in or so. Then use it to pay bills like it says. I’m curious if they have a debit card and also if they’re Chex sensitive?
I’ve seen this Eligibility Term a couple times now… “If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated the Bank Deposit Account Agreement or Bank Rate & Fee Schedule or have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with your account or this offer, we may determine that you are not eligible for the bonus. Gaming in connection to this offer may include, but is not limited to, deposit or transaction activity in the account that does not appear to have been made in good faith with the intention of maintaining an account, such as maintaining a low balance and not conducting regular banking transactions, such as paying bills. If you are not eligible or are deemed to be disqualified from receiving the bonus, we will notify you by the end of the offer period.” This looks like banks are trying to close the door on Bank Churning. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
