Thoughts
This has been nerfed from the last go around (was $400). Easy offer but worth holding until the $400 returns.
Lastly, never use Truist to do any ACH pushes out to other banks. Rumor has it they charge $3 for ACH outbound.
Some more datapoints for this one as I’m working it now.
Their site is a bit dated tech-wise. For example when you create a username/password, there isn’t a 2nd “password confirmation” field. Hope you typed it correctly!
There is a “Truist Offers” page that apparently becomes active after a week to 14 days where you can track your bonus:
https://offers.truist.com/login
3rd, and most importantly – this might be the fastest paying out bonus in the history of modern man. They require 2 DD’s totaling $1k, but pay out within 1-3 days after the 2nd DD posts. But, get this – often times your remote bank sending over the verification deposits code as a direct deposit. So…that’s 1 of the 2! Now send over 1k and you should get that sweet paper super quick.
Closing this account? Will reply back once i find out.
Were you able to close account immediately after they paid out the bonus?
Any DP’s on closing the account immediately after the bonus posts?
Excellent find, thank you RJ for this.
Few small corrections:
1.Offer is on account type is Truist One Checking not Bright Checking
2.A minor correction: On minimum balance required, its $500 not $1500.

Apologies on that. Thanks for the catch. I’ve updated the details
